About Us

Orange County Sliding Door grew out of my families long history in the glazing (Glass) industry. It started with my grandfathers glass company in the early 1960’s which eventually my father took over and owned for 20 years. When my father stepped away from the glass business he started a company specializing in repair and installation of sliding doors among a few other things. 

In the middle of all this I grew up, eventually becoming my father’s apprentice at an early age, handing him tools on the weekends and working when I was not in school. When I was around 18 years old and able to work independently my father encouraged me to start my own business, Orange County Sliding Door was born. Now (almost 22 years later) As a third generation glazing (glass) contractor in my family I take great honor continuing the excellent service I learned from my father growing up.

We do all kinds of sliding glass door repair, from fixing locks and rollers, to repairing leaks, and replacing worn thresholds. In addition, we are also experts at installing and repairing: wardrobe doors, vinyl windows/patio doors
